By integrating two surface treatment technologies, hicoating and hialloy, these solutions help users select the appropriate surface protection based on equipment operating conditions and product requirements.
hicoating can be applied to linear guideways, providing corrosion and chemical resistance according to the product specification. hialloy features a nickel-based hard alloy coating that offers high hardness, wear resistance, and scratch resistance. Both surface treatment technologies enhance substrate protection while maintaining the accuracy and dimensional stability of motion control components, meeting the application requirements of various operating environments.
To streamline the efficiency of product selection, ordering, and technical communication, HIWIN has also established a unified coating designation system that incorporates the surface treatment coverage and coating type into the linear guideway ordering code. Users can quickly identify the surface treatment configuration and coating type applied to the block and rail through the product part number, making product specifications clearer and more complete.
